Chameleon Consulting is a marketing consultancy based in Austin, Texas. You can reach us at info@chameleonconsults.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your emails, calls, or messages.
- Your mobile number and text messages, if you sign up for our assistant text alerts.
- Basic technical information when you visit our website, such as browser type and pages viewed. Our hosting provider logs this automatically and runs a small performance-monitoring script to keep the site fast.
- If you click Accept on our cookie notice, Google Analytics records how you use our website, such as pages viewed and time on site. If you click Decline, or make no choice, it doesn't run.
How we use it
- To respond to you and provide our services.
- To send text alerts you've signed up for.
- To understand how our website is used and make it better.
- To keep our website and systems running and secure.
- To meet legal obligations.
Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
When you sign up for text alerts, we use your mobile number only to send the messages described on our text alerts page. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We use a messaging service provider to deliver texts. They process your number only to deliver our messages and aren't allowed to use it for anything else.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies only for Google Analytics, and only after you agree. We don't use advertising cookies. You can change your mind at any time.
Who we share information with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our web host, analytics, email, and messaging providers, and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information if required by law. The text messaging commitments above apply in every case.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. If you opt out of text alerts, we keep a record of your opt-out so we don't message you again.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to people and providers who need it.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing info@chameleonconsults.com. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and change your cookie choice using the button above.
Children
Our services aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
